IPSWICH KENNEL CLUB 8th
JUNE 2008 CHAMPIONSHIP
SHOW JUDGE – Mrs B Smith - COSSACKS (UK) Thank
you to everyone their kindness and courtesy and for the overwhelming
generosity that I received from everyone. Thank you also for the
unforgettable Australian experience. I've had such a great time and
I hope that some of you, at least, will keep in touch in the future.
Thank
you to Lesley and her friends for entertaining me on the Westie Fun
Day whilst Clare was judging; to John Ross whose company I so much
enjoyed and who has such an astonishing depth of knowledge and to
his family for making us both so welcome. Thanks to Kelly Fu who
taught me things I didn't know about dentition and provided a
marvelous sea-food picnic to boot. A special thanks to Julana for
her thoughtfulness and her astonishing organisational skills, and for the time and
effort she gave most generously. My gratitude and thanks to my
excellent steward Anne Morrow and to Hayley Bartley who stepped into
the breach at the last moment.
Most
of all I'd like to thank all those people who went home card less;
for their sportsmanship in defeat and for their good manners and
without whom there would be no show.

followed it with Best Baby Puppy In Show. Very promising three and a half month black brindle. Well proportioned blocky head, well set ears if a little thick, round dark eye gave nice expression. Good bone, straight front. Nice square all round picture. Moved and showed well for such a baby. 2nd Gardner & Martin's WESTROVA STOIC TOOHEYS 3rd

CERTIFICATE What a very quality bitch. I really liked her ring presence. Seen from any angle, standing it was hard to fault her. Beautifully balanced with lovely clean lines. Standing four square she looked hard to knock off her feet. Strong head of correct proportions with keen expression, dark eye, nicely placed rose ears. She moved a little closer behind going away than the dog, which just cost her BOB. 2nd
